No Tears Left to Cry: Ariana Grande Engaged to SNL Pete Davidson

It's often that we see headlines of the next celebrity couple and the usual hem and haw comes from some while other followers, such as myself at times, get all starry eyed and indulge in the details. This time it's Ariana Grande's turn to again be in the celebrity couple spotlight. The "Not Tears Left to Cry" singer officially may have none left to cry except for the ones she will be shedding on her wedding day. It has officially been announced that SNL's Pete Davidson has popped the question to Grande and she said Yes!

Although the relationship may be fresh to some, Ariana and Pete have actually known each other for quite some time. The singer and the comedian initially met on SNL during Ariana's hosting gig two years ago in March 2016. In watching the episode, the two seemed to have some on screen chemistry that was conveyed through their comedic timing and skits where they had the opportunity to work with one another. This is why it shocks me that people feel as though their relationship is moving too swiftly. Seeing as the two have known each other for so long in reality, their relationship has really been brewing over the past two years. This may cause some questioning considering the singer was just with rapper Mac Miller. But hey, who are we to assume or judge. 

Pete and Ariana since their engagement have purchased an apartment for $16 million and are looking into which furniture will best fill their soon to be newlywed abode. Also, Ariana has no shame in naming an interlude on her album after him either, "Pete." What can I say? Love is in the air and if you're opposed to it I suggest you hold your breath because these two Harry Potter loving, cloud phone cover matching love birds are here to stay.
